I studied genomics and molecular genetics at Michigan State, then spent seven years in environmental laboratories before moving into quality assurance. Outside of work: AI, markets and long-term investing, generative art, films, and books.

Markets and investing
I invest on a long horizon, in companies I expect to still matter in twenty years. I keep my own records and calculate my own returns rather than relying on a brokerage summary.
Generative art
I make images with AI tools and post the ones worth keeping.
